Package: xdm Version: 2.20.7-4lenny1 Severity: grave 1. I instal Debian base system without desktop. 2. Install GDM through aptitude from stable rep. 3. Reboot. After boot GDM doesn't start. Appears xserver error: xserver not found. Installing xserver-xorg and xfonts-base packages solve problem. GDM just works.
