what you use doesn't matter. you installed fglrx, which replaced
the /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libdri.so shipped by

when installing the new xserver-xorg, people seem to run into the
following problem: since hal isn't restarted, it doesn't pick up the
callout installed by xserver-xorg to set input.xkb.*, so if people
restart X without rebooting they end up with a us keymap. So I'm

I think this is probably an xserver-xorg problem rather than
xserver-xorg-video-radeon. In any case, the keyboard problem is solved
so only the jerky display in fullscreen remains.

After updating the laptop to testing (including a
xserver-xorg-video-openchrome update), the additional lines in Section
"Monitor" are not needed anymore, i.e. this is a "lenny only" bug.

I suppose I can confirm this bug. Everytime I try to view a video with xine,
vlc or mplayer, the XServer crashes and restarts. I attached my xorg.conf and
