Hey,
as requested on #debian-x it'd be nice to have an updated snapshot for
drm, as recent, KMS enabled xorg intel driver needs at least 2.4.2.

Hm, I have tested with nVidia TNT2 32M, and the result is very similar. It
may not be fault of ATI driver. However, tested with Ubuntu 8.10, installed
the recommended Adobe Flash Plugin 10, it works fine. Could it possibly be
an issue of some plugin?

I tried installing vmmouse inside qemu, fails to provide a pointer at
all.
If I understand the log correctly vmmouse detects a vmware mouse, then

On some hardware autodetection is simply not possible.
This may include some very old cards (which may be detected by lspci or
whatnot) but also modern cards with long cabling, lame (K)V(M) switches,
etc.

Hello
For me evdev meks it possible to run X inside kvm(qemu) reasonably with
the qemu USB tablet emulation.
I patched dexconf to make use of evdev.
Unfortunately this makes the input devices non-hotpluggable as the
modules
