This bug occurs even in unstable (xserver-xorg-video-intel version 2:2.2.1-1). Mine graphics card is Intel GM965. The only change is, that screen doesn't turn black with cursor, but simple freezes. This happens mostly (but not only) when using 2D graphics acceleration (playing xmoto for example).
