As far as the bad initial video mode choice of 800x600 goes, that's the
x server's decision, and I've argued that it's wrong, but had no luck.
Your VGA doesn't actually advertise 1280x768, so it's not included in
the mode list, but you could add it using xrandr.

The fact that my keyboard and mouse where not working was my own mistake
I forgot tho install the input drivers (pebkec).
sudo aptitude install xserver-xorg-input-all
However there is something broken:

I am typing this report from tty0 since my xorg is not working with my
intel chipset on my eeepc 901. The screen startup in 800x600 and i cant
move my mouse or use the keyboard
