Then I could see a couple of icons in notification area, but they were screwed
up as well. Everything else is black.
Doesn't happen on my amd64 box.

I have an ATI RS480 Xpress 200M and I'm using mesa experimental because open
source drivers works so well.
But I had to manually upgrade all the xorg packages because it went
segmentation fault with compiz or such.
I think mesa 7.1 must depend
