I've run a package update for unstable yesterday, and as a result
the mapping of some keys has changed in the ru(phonetic) layout.
Discrepancies with the previous version noticed so far:

available in sparc32 machines, but I might be wrong.

Greetings,
I've added a simple xorg.conf (see below) on my new machine (Thinkpad

Does anyone on the list have counterexamples, i.e. sparc64 machines

My first guess is that it did not get merged upstream, so it has to be

Can you please try adding a following section to your xorg.conf, and
see if it makes any difference:

Assuming it still hangs, the most valuable thing would be a gdb

You mentioned that you were able to run the modified server remotely

In case anyone wonders, the removal of xserver-config-script was
intentional, I just forgot to mention it in the commit log. This file

Thanks for debugging info. Since there is such a simple workaround,
I'm dropping the severity of the bug to non-RC f

experienced your problem with testing, so the package versions will be
slightly different. It would be great if you could try running xorg

Hi Martin,
You can download older debs at http://www.wooyd.org/debian/xorg or at

Best re

is not supported by X.org at this moment, to the best of my knowledge.
The only thing I can recommend is to get a Creator or Elite 3D card,
which are supported fine by the sunffb driver.

Hi Martin,
This problem has been reported as bug 352869 a while ago, and a solution
is on its way. Please add the directives
Load "cfb"
Load "cfb32"
to the "Module" section of your xorg.conf as a workaround in the meantime
ke to test it, make a backup copy of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, purge
the xserver-xorg package, and install the patched one. It should generate
a working xorg.conf file. If it does not, please provide the information
on how it needs to be fixed.
