It especially appears when viewing pictures and mostly in the right part of the

I attached here a patched version of i830_3d.c
according to http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=12993
Download xserver-xorg-video-intel_2.2.0.orig.tar.gz,
unpack and replace /xf86-video-intel-2.2.0/src/i830_3d.c by the attached
patched version,
./configure --prefix=/usr
./make
./sudo m
The problem is solved, at least for 855GM chips, by applying the patch 'i830
render fix'

The mentioned display corruption with EXA disappears completely after running
glxdemo or glxgears
and restarting X, as long as the pc isn't shut down.

The problem with the keyboard that I reported previously seems to be related to
bug 447666.
After removing xserver-xorg-input-evdev (1.2.0~git20070819-3) the keyboard and
xmodmap function properly.
Sorry for complaining about the wrong bug!

upgrading (today 23 oct.) my .Xmodmap which worked fine for years no
longer works.
My xorg.conf is config for us_intl but now xmodmap -pke shows a japanese
keyboard layout.
The Caps and Num Lock leds also still stay off.
The broken keyboard is a very annoying bug!

Hi Michel,
There is something strange with this EXA problem. After booting and login the
screen always looks corrupted
but sometimes it becomes clear after restarting X. This behaviour seems
unpredictable.
I also started glxgears in a corrupted screen which suddenly became clear,

Hi,
When using the option "AccelMethod" "EXA" in xorg.conf I get a
corrupted displa

The icons and the fonts of my xfce desktop almost disappear making it unusable.
I am using mesa 7.0.1-1 and xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12.
This problem also happens with previous versions 2:2.0.0 as I already mentioned
in bug #428148.

working I had to install
xserver-xorg-core_1.0.2-0ubuntu10_i386.deb and
xserver-xorg-driver-i810_1.4.1.3-0ubuntu6_i386.deb
from Ubuntu!
This problem lasts already several months, why can Ubuntu remove the bug
and Debian can not?

Because of bug #345958 I can no longer use Debian testing. :(
Could it be possible to put xserver-xorg 6.8.2, which worked well,
back on testing?
Best regards,
Jos
