Packages: libx11-6 v. 2:1.1.2-1 (experimental), libxcb-xlib0 [1.0-3 (unstable)] , libpthread-stubs0 [0.1-2 (unstable)] Severity: important System: debian unstable, kernel 2.6.21-1-686, Intel 855GM chipset.
I recently upgraded libx11-6 from v. 2:1.0.3-7 (unstable) to 2:1.1.2-1 (experimental), the packages libxcb-xlib0, libpthread-stubs0, libpthread-stubs0-dev, libxcb-xlib0-dev, libxcb1-dev (unstable) too had to be installed. When now starting a java application I get the following error: --- java: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed. Aborted --- Downgrading back to libx11-6 from v. 2:1.0.3-7 (unstable) and removing libxcb-xlib0, libpthread-stubs0, libpthread-stubs0-dev, libxcb-xlib0-dev, libxcb1-dev resolves the problem.
