Hi Cyril,
Hmmm, I responded to the bug report a few weeks ago, but it doesn't
appear to be in the system.
I fetched my old Phillips Brilliance 109 from the storage unit, and it
exhibits the same bug.
I still have it here if there is anything else I should check.

The solution was add "enable_mtrr_cleanup mtrr_spare_reg_nr=1" to
/etc/default/grub in variable GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX and run update-grub.
