Hi everyone,
I've been spewing my random findings in to the irc channel for a few
days now but I think it's time I posted a summary of where things stand on
getting rid of xresprobe. Please do provide corrections, commentary, and
questions.

The Enlightenment DR16 window manager uses a pager which takes snapshots
of the active windows, and displays miniature versions of these windows
in the pager. After upgrading the video driver, this functionlality has

Bug#45416
Hi,
since nobody else wanted to fix the driver I had to do it by myself. With the
attached patch applied the mouse is moving again. It turned out that the
curent x-server does no longer call the conversion_proc function to convert
the values provided by the vmmouse (values between 0 and 0x)

Hi Brice,
My X.Org just crashed. Previousely I have disabled gdm.

Hi,
I just installed a plain new Debian Sid in a vmware and wanted to change
the mouse to vmmouse. But since the new X Server is in Sid, it doesn't
take the vmmouse anymore.
I'd appreciate any hint, what is wrong here.
