affects many apps - get an old copy of the package, e.g.:

When I submitted the bug report I gave it the severity "important". However,
it turned out that KDE and many other programs are in fact unusuable.
Therefore the severity should be "grave".
Furthermore: this bug can be merged with #350113, #353561, #353565, #353572,
