Same problem here, running same experimental package. Worked (mostly...
this problem didn't exist anyway) in Debian-unstable (XF86 4.2.1). My
/etc/X11/XFree86-4 is nearly identical to his with respect to input devices.
Package: xfonts-base
Version: 4.2.1-14
G'Day!
The file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/microsoft-win3.1.enc is
missing from the xfonts-base package. This encoding is referenced in
the file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/encodings.dir.
I guess this oversight has not been noticed until now

Ok, after digging around much to long, i found that the patches:
900_debian_config.diff 901_Wraphelp.c.diff of experimental do the job
nicely. No more problems currently, but the build is cur

Hi,
Am I the only one who finds that NumLock being off when X starts is
counter-intuitive? After all it is ON at the console. And, really, the
numeric keypad on an extended keyboard (pc105) is not that useful when
NumLock is OFF.
So my questions are:
1) would it be a good idea to make the defau

Glad to hear it. You did find a bug, though -- hardware cursor support
should not be broken. If there's no way to fix it, the driver should
