Package: xfonts-base Version: 4.2.1-14 G'Day!
The file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/microsoft-win3.1.enc is missing from the xfonts-base package. This encoding is referenced in the file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/encodings.dir. I guess this oversight has not been noticed until now because no-one has had a need to use this encoding! :-) I have no idea when it was deleted (if it was ever included), either... I am sure that you already know you can grab the relevant file from the XFree86.org CVS, in the xc/fonts/encodings directory.
