I think this bug has reared its head since pre1v1 for real. There are a
lot of KDE users using 4.3 debs that can't use deadkeys or see accented
characters (they show as ?'s). I am going to try rebuilding pre1v1 which
I had previously to see if xfree86 itself is at fault.

On one of Debian systems I administer, user does experience random X server
crashes. The crashes seem not to be reproducable by exact action sequence,
but they do happen every 2-3 hours.
This happens both with 4.2 from testing and 4.3 from experimental.
