I have a few binary applications that exhibit the
problem with ISO10646 fonts (fonts appear as little
gray boxes). I read the FAQ, but there is no suggested
solution or even a hack to fix the problem. The
programs are not open source and there are no updated

First I tried to get the PCI card to work with the Gatos "ati.2"
driver.
They say that Dpkg and RPM both install the Xfree86 in unique places.
Their drivers are based on 4.1.99. Does anybody know of a way to install
the "ati.2" project while using the debian installation of XFree86x tha

Quick question. From what I can tell, the ATI Rage 128 Pro Ultra TF AGP
video card is not supported by X 4.1.0. It looks like 4.1 was released
in June of 2001 and this card was not officially supported by the
XFree86 team until July of 2001. I assume that the 4.2 package supports
this card.
