Hi Javi,
I was off-line a while... if I am missing some discussion, excuse me.
(I just had my mobo died on my Debian MacBook to be unbootable and had
other things. So I was slow responding and busy fixing my environment

Hi!
AFAICT there is no documentation on how to use po/Makefile. On
http://www.debian.org/devel/website/translating we can read about
"make init-po" to create new templates in an empty po directory.
However, there is nothing about how to update the po files. I ended

BTW, do you still reproduce it on your machine ?
If yes, makefile dependencies should be improved.

That should be handled through the "touch_translations" script, which
should make sure that all language versions are updated when another
language version is updated, for instance
(it worked yesterday)!
I first assumed that building of the website takes too long. As far as
I know the site is updated every 4 hours. How long does it take to
synchronize the mirrors? What it the most up-to-date mirror?
Nevertheless I noticed that the problem is a missing Makefile dependency.

Hi,
pages in http://www.debian.org/vote/2005/platforms use
english/vote/style.inc but after an update of style.inc there is no
rebuild.
Since the Makefile simple includes $(WMLBASE)/Make.lang I'm not sure how
to add a dependence.

Hi,
I noticed that the files nonvulns_sarge.$(LANGUAGE).html are not updated

include $(subst webwml/french,webwml/english,$(CURDIR))/Makefile
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/src/DEBIAN/webwml/french/Pics$
which keeps itself syncronized with the english makefile to a version

You can also run check_trans.pl with the -M parameter, which will make it
report differences in the Makefiles after the normal file report. I run
check_trans.pl -Mdl every night (and

I've found an easy way to check for outdated Makefiles and I'd like to
share it with you all:
#v+
