I'm not sure how WML will deal with it. I'm having weird troubles with a
similar problem with php3 elsewhere. Crazy thing won't notice functions
defined in the same included file.
I'll work on it this weekend though.

I have tried in vain to find out what the 's are for these two.
They seem to be buried deep in the mystical nature of

This cannot be good. Is it me? Is it you?
I used the very same lines from the previous function. They seem to work
with all of my tests. I hope they continue to do so. :)

Oops...Commited the new index.wml too. Doesn't matter. The old function
is still there and will still work just as before. If you'd like to test
the new functions, have at it, send comments and bug reports please.

Alright, I _think_ I've got all the bugs worked out. I've tried a bunch
of combinations and so forth and it seems to work. Here are the docs.
I'll wait a day or so before I commit the new index.wml, meantime anyone
has any disagreements with my selection of terms please me know so I can

Here is the email that requested I place 1999 events at the top of the
event page. As to the past events part, that would require some
alterations to the index code. If there are no screams and/or death
threats I'll make those alterations too.

I'm going to post this, then wait 24 hours before I do this so if anyone
is going to object please do it now. We've been getting email lately from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] about linux world expo's in france. The
linuxexpo site says that there are ones in the US. Now since the site

We debianers (ites?) occasionally have short term events (ie, not planned
months in advance). I was wondering if you would like me to add a link to
the debian events page called "parties" or some such with a list to links
of debian parties occuring soon. These are informal, nonconvention

The Alternative Linux event requires a new .wml file. The other event wml
files all have xxx-event.wml type names. For example:
0301-linworldexpo.wml
and
0306-interworks.wml
So, what number goes with Alternative Linux? How is that decided?
