I am trying to get it to build/install on my debian stable but it fails with:

Selecting previously deselected package libjpeg-turbo8.

It would be super nice of there was also a libjpeg-turbo-dev package
which would provide turbojpeg.h. This file is exepcted for some other
software, including virtuagl:

I could not find the documentation for what isValidJP2 really actually
meant. Doc says:
...
5.4 isValidJP2 element
This element contains the results of the validation. If a
file passed all the tests (i.e. all tests
returned “True”, see section 5.5) it is most likely valid
JP2,
I cannot see any progress on this package. Is this still something you
are working on ?
Otherwise here is my current status:
http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/python-modules/packages/jpylyzer/trunk/
It seems to be working nicely.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,

I use this tool sometimes. I will take over maintenance and use svn/collab.
Thanks for your hard work !

Miriam,
I would like to encourage you to maintain this package within the
debian-med umbrella organisation. We already have mencal:

thanks
Previous upload has been discarded since mummy did contained a
convenient copy of cableswig.
Once the blocking bugs in cableswig and gccxml have been adressed,
I'll do another upload.
