I am no longer maintaining snarf. It is not actively developed upstream
and has few users according to popcon. I intend to remove it from
Debian ahead of the jesse release unless somebody is interested in
maintaining it.

Hi Petter. I'm interested in taking over ipmitool in Debian. I've got
a fair bit of hardware available for testing and use ipmitool in a
production environment, so I've got some interest in seeing it actively
maintained.

a terrible state and doesn't require a whole lot of attention, but there
are some annoying bugs that should be looked at.

I don't have a Sony laptop anymore and can't properly maintain this
package. It's a simple package to maintain and is fairly static, so it
may be appropriate for a new maintainer. You will need a Sony laptop in
order to appropriately test the package, though.
