I intend to maintain vcr.py under the umbrella of the DPMT, which I'm already a
member of. I don't need help to find a sponsor, but thanks for the
better plan just tell me!
I'm a DM and a member of the DPMT, but I'm fine to leave debiancontributors on

Usually I'm pretty fast addressing issues on packages I maintain, do you have

Using python(3)-chardet, all requests' tests are ok, so for now I'm going
to use it.

Is it worth backporting to python-chardet? Right now charade doesn't differ
to much from it but in future it might be.

Right now, yes, since the two codebase don't differ much. requests is
currently embedding charade 1.0.1, so there should be no problems.
Maybe I can just update requests using python-chardet for now, but I'm a
bit worried about that missed detection on Python 3.

Just a quick update. I completed the work on python-circuits last week. I
have already sent a RFS, so I hope it will be r
27;m aware of them but since circuits is maintained
under the umbrella of DPMT I will, at first, ask for a review and

As said, I'm working right now on the packaging and I hope to get circuits
