I just used the debian boot floppy to install pototoe 2.2.19 idepci.
Then to use it as a firewall I recompiled the kernel with

I have dl via the internet a *.zip program for linux.
The *.zip has been dl on my Dos partition, and i don't know how to
access it with my linux partition (to install the program i need to
locate it).

Ok, downgrade to the libc in stable(5.4.20-?). I got the same problems,
(but my machine _is_ a NIS server so ypserv works but not
ypbind). Unstable is unstable ... :)
