When my usb printer(canon pixma 510) comes on line, udev creates the
following device:
/dev/usb/lp0 root:lp 0660
The problem is cupsd runs as lpadmin, so i get permission denied errors.
The question: is this a bug, if yes: a cups one or a udev one?

I'm sorry if I appear to be a nitwit; but I'm rather fond of AE. Now I have

Hi, ever since dist-upgrading from sarge to etch, I have been having
some issues with aptitude. Here's an example:
When I look at the entries for the gimp (which I do not have
installed) in aptitude, the entry on the main list is (approximately):
p gimp
and when I hit enter on this entry I
Hi, until recently, many gtk applications gave me *** glibc detected .

gtk themes in the KDE control panel. What is the relevant package that
I should report the bug against?

I've been trying to upgrade to xorg 7 for a few days now, and have
managed to get just far enough through that the old X won't work
anymore, but not far enough that the new one will =(.
Everything is hinging on the upgrade of x11-common, which I've heard
is the hardest part of this upgrade. The i

Yup, that looks like the problem. I'll be using a2ps for now.

Or at the authors site at Sourcefo
