I tried to create the Debian Binary i386 Sarge DVD Distribution using
jigdo (on i386 platform with new sarge and jigdo-file_0.6.9-2) but
failed. Doing a 'jigdo-lite -h' I get this message:

I'm trying to install Debian-1.1 via NFS, but I've got some serious
trouble with the ethernet connection. I'm using a WD8003 (selected the
module 'wd' during base installation), which seems to be found
correctly. 'ifconfig eth0' prints out the correct data. Now the
trouble begins:

Obviously, I'm somewhat blinded. For some time I try to configure a new
desktop machine ('etch', kernel 2.6.12) to automount
(gnome-volume-manager) an USB stick. This is not my first Debian system
and with other systems (e.g. my laptop), I'm able to use USB sticks, but
this machine is awful.
