Jigdo & Memory Usage

Can't route to ethernet

Automount of USB stick doesn't work

Hiya! Obviously, I'm somewhat blinded. For some time I try to configure a new desktop machine ('etch', kernel 2.6.12) to automount (gnome-volume-manager) an USB stick. This is not my first Debian system and with other systems (e.g. my laptop), I'm able to use USB sticks, but this machine is awful.
