I've used both, but prefer Partition Magic. Either will work reliably,
but the usual caveat is to backup your files before using one of these.
Partition Magic 3.0 will handle FAT32 partitions.

ew kernel seems to run fine in a text console, but if I start X, I
get four tiled copies of my screen and the mouse cursor is a big
smudge. Are there some new "features" in 2.2.17 which affect XFree86?
I use xserver-svga.

Purging and re-installing ipmasq resulted in networking with
masquerading now working again (I still don't know how it broke).

e run by symlinks in /etc/rcS.d at boot time
and dmesg verifies this. Does anyone know why they aren't working
until I rerun them later from runlevel 2? I didn't have this problem
with 2.2.16.
