Hi,
I've been playing with Linux for a few months (Suse) and just started playing with Debian. I have installed a custom 2.4.3 kernel with a custom Debian install based on testing/unstable. Being adventurous I only installed the base system, then upgraded and installed specific packages through AP

What have I missed?
Have you tried "apt-get remove" both the mesa libs and the nvidia drivers, then
"apt-get install" the xlib version of the mesa libs (forgot the name,
xlibmesa?)
and the nvidia drivers?
I believe I use the Xlib versions of the mesa libs.

Maybe also comment out the section, too.

2.2 for natsemi?
If not, do you have the kernel header files for you specific kernel
installed (or the compiled sources)?
I got fed up with the pseudo-tulip Linksys and got the FA311. Since I
run 2.4.3, I just compiled in the driver.

w makes it work even in 2.2.X kernels. I'm not
sure how this works, though.

led ugidd.
The other way would be to synchronize the UID/GID's of "keith" on all
computers and not run ugidd.
I would suggest not exporting /frodo to the world.

e, but I could settle for
the hassle of scp/SSH since the throughput is about 60X
better!
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks to those that responded.
I didn't realize that my router was not passing packet
fragments. Updating the firmware has got NFS working
much faster now. Still not as fast as FTP or SSH, but
not too bad.

This will allow you to setup the kernel and install correctly.

Then, just exit (logout). Your boxen will reboot automatically.
Hopefully, it will work like before.
