I have installed Debian 2.0 on a second drive, but kept Debian 1.3.1
while I work out the bugs. On 1.3.1, my ethernet card(3com 509c) works
fine. I don't remember if I had to recompile the kernel to get it to
work or not. In 2.0, the card is not acknowledged at boot. What do I
do??

the deb netscape installer because I tried it with 4.04 and it removed
my only reliable Netscape, 3.04, and then aborted on the installation of
4.04 :-(

do. Before you tell me to do so, I should say that I
installed Debian 2.0 on another drive, but have another problem--it didn't
recognize that I had an ethernet card (3c509, I think), so I would like
to get 1.3.1 working for the time being.

TkDesk, it appears correctly again, but of course with factory
defaults. If I close it and then try to run it again, I get the same

elect the partition where Debian Archive resides, it presented me with

one option in the list: /dev/hda1, which is my Win95 partition, and halted
a little further on.

Changing the font size in Preferences does not seem to affect the font
size on the toolbars and, more importantly, the fonts in the message listing
