I am trying to use postscript fonts in plain TeX (I have no trouble in LaTeX) and get the following message when tex'ing the .tex file:
! Font \times=Times not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found.

<to be read again>

End of file on the terminal!
No pages of output.
Can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks.
