What I ended up doing was just filtering based on contents. If an email
has "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" in it then it goes to my
debian list folder under my main mailbox. This works fine, so far.

up and dialing. it's a Megahertz XJ1144 and as far as I can
tell it's not a winmodem. So what do i need to do to get

Just about any version of XFree will do. You may need to download a newer
X server from xfree86.org, or upgrade to potato. If I recall correctly, the
SVGA server contains the TNT support. You might want to double-check on
the xfree86.org website.

I've got my base installed and i am still trying to
get everything else on with apt.
My problem is that I still can't tell what's up with
my modem-card (Megahertz XJ1144).
I do know that it is not a winmodem, but it doesn't show up
on any of the lists of "modems working under Linux" either.

use FreeDOS if you don't want to use DOS.
2) Use dosemu to load the code after Debian has booted.
I used #2 once to get a Digicom modem working. I ended up returning it
