I remember that issue with Xen and /lib/ssl, but don't known about
what could be happen in your case.
I'm running this machine on amazon ec2, kernel is 2.6.21.7-2.fc8xen.

and so on. What is the format I can send to the sound card? Which device to

You should select some engine to work with.
You can work directly with ALSA (that will tie you to linux), or for
example use Phonon architecture - that is portable in terms of OS but
will tie you to kdelibs.

to have set Grub up for the serial console, albeit with the wrong baud
rate. However I did not get Grub 2 to run on the Alix. I even tried to

For those who misunderstood my mail, tftp and bootp (basically PXE)
worked before and the kernel and the initramdisk got loaded. The problam
was with the installer not being able to access the mirrors. Apparently
even though the installer asked me to provide a name server, it did not
