Hello!
My system is Debian Etch, with linux-image-2.6.18-5-686 SMP.
I want to upgrade my kernel, but in the repository can't find
subsequent linux-image.
What can I to do to get and install subsequent kernel on Etch
than linux-image-2.6.18 on debian way?
Any advices will be appreciated!

Uwe,
I find that if I revert to exim4 monolithic configuration, my e-mail
works, and so I've obviously done something to the split configuration
file. I'm subscribing to pkg-exim4-users and will try to resolve the
issue there.
Thanks.

The Debian way would be to get the sources from kernel.org, configure
them and then use make-kpkg to create Debian packages, but:
1. you have to be able to configure the kernel
2. you won't be getting any debian patches and security upgrades.

Greetings,
I'm using Stable with an amd64 kernel. I want to switch to a 32 bit version
rather than the 64 bit. Any advice on doing so, or am I better off to just
reload totally and start from scratch? What's the best way to make this
change?
Thanks,

It seems you would def. need to re-install as the 32-bit kernel wouldn't
be able to run any of the 64 packages and libraries that are installed on
your system.

Hello,
Do "Debian" make official packages for scenari ?
http://scenari-platform.org/svn/dev-core/versions/3.4.1/
There are some packages .deb for 32 bits only at:
http://scenari-platform.org/deb/pool/
Thanks.

My login started with the locked screen again recently, and I'm not sure why.
The other login doesn't do that, you can do the CTRL-ALT-F8 to the other

Thanks!

Any suggestion is welcome.
