Much the same experience here. Galeon renders web pages much better and

No need for a special Linux distribution. Just get yourself a printing
terminal. I recommend a Teletype Model 40.

The problem seems to be the tcp daemon tcpd. The logs are full of the
following message:

Looks like we are missing a package. Any ideas?

A colleague did a clean install of woody yesterday. Everything seemed
pretty normal, but he could not get uw-imap to start.
It would not start because tcp wrappers seems to be going crazy
(uw-imapd starts via inetd and the line /usb/bin/tcpd /usr/sbin/imapd)
He has many MB of log entries of
Setup: Woody/testing noX
Several home machines on a home network
Behind a hardware firewall (netgear FR314)
Running exim/procmail
Back in action.. Being the oldest perl student at ucsb was kind of
fun. Final now over. Time to play.

tracert from dos not traceroute bash on the ip in question. If it's a
machine it'll return with the hostname. I don't use nt4 for dhcp but
I'd bet there's a route table to reference? Also what does nmap say on
the ip(s)?
