Hello list,
I'd like to set up Postgresql so that users can have "read-only" access to a
database. Right now, I only know how to set it so a user can have all or
nothing access by adding something like the following in the pg_hba.conf
file:
localmydbcryptusers.mydb
And put the names

Check out /proc/cpuinfo. Don't have any 2.0.x boxen on the air anymore, but
I think that was available before.

You should look through the PostgreSQL documentation. But basically, you
manage users using SQL:
CREATE USER foo WITH PASSWORD bar;
GRANT READ ON table TO foo;
REVOKE DELETE ON table FROM foo;

I see, thanks a lot.
BTW, I think sendmail.mc is too baroque for me. (sendmailconfig is more
bearable :-)
Oki
But that only defines permissions on the individual tables of the database.
I'm trying to set permissions on the database itself. Specifically I'm
trying to prevent users from being able to do CREATE TABLE but still be able
to do SELECTs.

I have a Realteck too. Mine is one RTL8029 PCI and
works fine with the ne driver. I couldn`t make it work with the ne-pci, but i
have no problem with ne.

in some cases catting this file did not produce any information.
Anything else?
And offtopic, but is there an equivalent file in FreeBSD?

I'm looking for some pointers to finding a good font to use with Eterm
that will correctly show ansi graphics. I'm using the std 7x14 font in bold.
It looks fairly decent in 1600x1200 but doesn't handle the ansi graphics.
Any ideas?

Hello, all --
I have one more question and as usual, would be very grateful for any help.
I am currently using kernel 2.2.14 because I can't load up anything newer.
The 2.4.x kernels give me an error message on load "AT keyboard not present"
and, of course, I then can't use my keyboard. I checke
