Help: Partition OK but packages all screwed up

Hi, I posted a message about my Partition Screw-up. Thanks to those who replied. I have the system booting off floppy. I worked out that I needd to recreate /lib/modules/2.2.17 and copy files/directories from /lib/modules.old/2.2.17 which fixed the modprobe problem and gives me back my LAN.

Trouble with setting up printer

I can't seem to get my printer to print. It has previously worked with Debian but this is a re-installation (Potato 2.2r3). I have installed lpr and apsfilter and then ran apsfilterconfig. It is a bjc4200 and it uses the bjc600 driver. It printed a test page fine from apsfilter setup program.

Actually I ran into a similar problem with an older version of php4 I had installed after I upgraded mysql. Essentially the upgrade of mysql changed the library used to connect to it, causing php to fail to load on startup. Check your apache logs and make sure that php isn't generating an error (

I get these messages when booting with Kernel 2.2.19 (which Progeny Debian for some reason installed as default when I did an upgrade). This doesn't happen with 2.2.18. Everything boots up fine, but I was wondering what these errors mean and how to address them. I also get these with Libranet 1.
