First, what speed are you connecting at? As reported in another post or
two, it is easy to make your system save the modem connect speed in its

Is there a package for managing fincances? I need this for an
event as opposed to personal stuff. It needs ideally to be free (how is
gnucash these days?). Any opinions on what to use/avoid?

I'm new user of debian 2.0 buyed Lehmann, before moving
to debian I used the SuSE 5.3 but the was SuSE manage the
system don't make me happy, however several things make
me moving to Debian.
First installation was easy and rebuilding kernel with own needings
-hardware, networking is easy done,
A few days ago, I converted my system to use exim as it's MTA, rather
than smail. While I'm generally happy with the results, there are 2
things I haven't been able to sort out yet, and I'm hoping that someone
might point me in the right direction.
1. Is there any way to have exim rewrite headers

crashing. I suggest you stay away from slink for a while unless you want
