removed one because I didn't like the way it made xterm look. Perhaps

OK, the ongoing saga of my ppp dialup continues. pon now attempts the
connection(my modem is now recognized!). It dials and then thats it. We
use Kerberos Authen so i do not know if this is causing the
problem. The logs show that after the handshake the host(my school) asks

Got a bit of a problem here. Actually, it a LOT of a problem.
I had a fairly standard bo installation. I ran the autoupgrade.sh script,
which seemed to work, kind of. It missed a whole lot of stuff in /oldlibs
and some stuff in /base when retrieving everything, so the system was in a

and I want to run unattended backups. In addition, I have zftape and
autofs running.
Is there any way I can share IRQ6? I saw a kernel patch (2.0.33) for IRQ
sharing, but I'm not sure if that patch will do the job and do it
I setup cgiwrap the other day and it works great. the only thing I dont
like is the fact that it fills my xconsole. Is there anyway to filter
this out? I use my xconsole to monitor telnets/ftp/mail and dont wish to
have cgiwrap here.

What version of autoup.sh did you use? Are you getting the hamm
files from a local mirror, files in your current directory, or by ftp
from a mirror? Version 0.21 has a bug that prevents it from
retrieving oldlibs/libc5_*.deb, and from failing due to that. In that

This is impossible
I just updated a local mirror of Debian and I noticed that while it did not
grab any new packages, it removed a few ... including Exim. Is exim gone from
Debian? I manually checked ftp.debian.org and sure enough, no exim in hamm.
