Is imlib-base supposed to disappear in unstable?
On the basis of DSA 618-1 I've updated imlib11, but I also have
imlib-base 1.9.14-16 installed, which doesn't seem to have a 1.9.14-17
around, and

Huh. Upon further inspection, it seems that 1.5.2 doesn't have
this option but 2.x does.

Install the gdk-imlib-dev package to get that header.
Out of curiosity, why are you installing these from source into local? I think

Has it nothing to do with the recent instalations and removals? Has it been
this way from the start because I installed it with apt-get instead
Greetings,
Just recently, programs dependent on gdk-imlib have refused to run.
I haven't installed
any conflicting software, and am using the latest version of gdk-imlib.
Here's the error

ugh I have libimlib2-dev installed.
So I thought maybe enlightenment and its libs needs to be compiled
with the new X libs, so I removed all related enlightenment, eterm,
imlib stuff from my system, and compiled everything.

Hi,
I tried to run Enlightenment via local network; when it was

Hi,
I've gotten a number of requests for imlib packages that are linked
against gtk/glib 1.2. The imlib packages linked against gtk/glib 1.2 have
been ready for some time. However, they will not be released until the
gnome/gtk/imlib coordination team feel that the new gnome/gtk/imlib

I just upgraded to the newest imlib packages from potato--version 1.9.3-1
gdk-imlib1, imlib-base, imlib-progs, and imlib1. Neither of the two problems

Can anyone help me figure this out? I am running all the latest from potato

I never emailed jimpick on this, but I was never able to get this to work
either. I ended up getting the gnome v0.20 source TARBALLS and compiling gnome
myself. Jim definately did something quircky in the debian installs.

Oops. Forgot to mention that I said "no more non-free/contrib". We now

now. So grab libungif (or whatever Jim Pick called it). Imlib will

Yes after much trial and hard ship (ok after me putting it off and

I installed the Im-lib non-free libraries (same thing happened when I
tried the standard Im-libs libs) and tried to compile rxvt-imlib from the

If you use hamm, there is both a imlib and a gdk_imlib package(which I
