Looks like dependency hell is the problem. There are over 800 packages being held back from testing. Its likely some dependency of pcmanfm-qt was upgraded but there are others blocking pcmanfm-qt from upgrading. Way to many upgrades to do by hand and trying in synaptic removes a ton of packages
