Near the end of Xorg.0.log has the following message:

Indeed, nouveau.ko and its dependent driver

What do I need to do to go back to using nv?

I believe that in Debian 1.3 (or was it 1.2?), the cron
package came with crontabs that will rotate the log files in
/var/log. This does not appear to be the case with Debian

My suspicion is on the ftp client program as I can upload a
file fine from a PC running Win95 which the Linux box
masquarades for. (Is that the correction expression??)
Any help would be appreciated.

"authentication refused". (I cannot remember which.) The
user ID and the password are in the secret file, which diald
may not like. (I don't know.) I ended up modifying the
sample /etc/diald/connect script and added the user ID and
the password there.
Still in need of help..

gets its IP address dynamically from the ISP. I've been
reading the man pages, examples, and the mini howto but have
not found anything helpful in this regard.
