Hi All,
Is there a way to "stream" simulated filesystems? To narrow that question
down: imagine a Beaglebone with a USB IN and OUT. You plug an NTFS
formatted USB drive into IN, with a USB cable coming OUT and plugged into,
say, a machine running OSX. Linux would simulate a storage device on OUT,
re of directory
ownership: the "get off my lawn" property.
What would lawn-ownership even mean, if you couldn't kick
stuff/solicitors/dogs off of it, call them funny names, etc?

annoying, it would seem to be the only truly portable solution.

I think the driver's for this card are only included in the compact kernel. Go
grab the compact rescue and root floppies and try again.

If your firewall is like mine (linksys) then it messes up the connection when
the daemon forks if it attaches to a privileged port (< 1023). Try using ssh
-P hostname to get the daemon to go to a non-privileged port behind the
firewall.

That should do
Lather, rinse, repeat! As a general rule, though, use the debian package
that accomplishes whatever you are looking for. This will make your life
a lot easier. If you need more help, next time try RTFM ;)
