Not is ls, per se. I usually use the find command like this:
'find . -mode 4755 | xargs ls -
Messages sent using Pine 3.96L-2 (hamm/x86) have the date set to UTC. Is
there a way to tell pine to use the local TZ? I didn't see anything in
/etc/pine.conf

vertical bars of color are displayed on the screen. The
only way to get it back is to hard boot; it does not respond to pings from
remote hosts, etc.
This does not happen when I use Accelerated X 4.1. Any ideas would be
appreciated...

fix the problem. I notice also in /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config:
DisplayManager.authDir: /var/lib/xdm
The specified directory does not exist... I've not seen this message
before, and am curious about what it means exactly.

the NIS databases are made.
