M4A785-M/CSM mainboard (BIOS was updated to most recent version 2302

Netnstaller requires network driver (rtl_nic) which I provided on USB
drive and the installer gained network access.

Next logical step would be automatic installation by utilizing "preseed"

well it looks like for all installed "display managers" we have to
define "default-x-display-manager".
Hmm, it is not very elegant but does the job.

Hi,
ok, next web page states that GeForce 7300 does not support "VDPAU". A
quick swap of video card to GeForce 8400 and "mplayer" plays video
through "VDPAU" driver with average load on CPU 4%-5%.
Looking into "mencoder" issue.

Why mount refuses to mount through loopback interface?
The issue can be reproduced in your system with next set of commands
root# mkdir -p /exports/home
root# cat >> /etc/exports
/export/home 192.168.0.0/24(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
