About Me Changes Don't Stick and Additional Drivers No Show in Main Menu

Hi I just installed Mint 10 Debian and my additional drivers option isn't available in the main menu. My Graphics are horrible and I need to see if additional drivers are available. When I update my personal info in about me and close it the information is not being saved. I appreciate any help.

y soundcard are trying unsuccesfully to share irq 11. I can't change it in my bios because the only option is to change irq 11 from pnp/pci to legacy isa, which moves both to another interupt, both the same one. Thanks in adavance, Peter Allen

Use lilo, then you can boot either. Just set up your /etc/lilo.conf for duel boot. (I haven't got a sample handy, but man lilo to get the format, and if all else fails look in the archives for one, as I know many people have posted there lilo.conf files many times. Peter
