O! So it *is* intentional. (I didn't need to do anything with

that I assigned to the card (again, with 3c5x9cfg).
I'm not very familiar with the kernal module technology, so I'm not
sure what to investigate next. Perhaps I should have used a different
format for the io & irq parameters?

help him when I'm not around (I last recommended Thinking Unix to
him), so I thought a book about the free software culture would be
good for him now. Wasn't a book about the history of free software
reviewed on /. a few months ago?
