Hi,
Under BO (Debian 1.3), I had the same problem with the same video card
and kept getting the message:
Warning: Mach64Clkt < 16
(or something similar).
I upgraded to hamm (with it's newer version of XFree86) and the problem
went away.
What version of X are you using?
What's the output of:
Hi,
Excuse the vague problem definiton, but on a variety of programs I've
compiled (but not written...), when i try to run the resulting program I
just get a 'Segmentation Fault' immediately.
Any clues either as to what causes this, or how to find out what
does/doesn't (<-for elimination purpo

Hi,
I am stunningly confused about the whole c and c++ suite thing that's
going on (I'm still in HAMM - it's *not * the __register_frame_info
stuff!).
Here's my story and a plea for a clear explanation of what's what and
what I need to compile kernels, c++ toolkits and stuff.
Over the weekend

Hi,
After figuring out that my dhcpcd problems were due to a corrupted file
in /var/run/, I now find I can't resolve
hostnames/addresses _inside_ our firewall (it's fine for sites outside
on the internet).
I know littela botu networking so am not sure where the problem is, but

Hi,
After a broken upgrade, I re-installed Debian2.0. With 1.3, I'd
installed dhcpc and it like worked right out of the box i think.
For my re-install, i set up the base system and said | was on a network
and filled in all the info.
Then, I installed dhcpc thinking it would like get all that

I'm just worried I'll get the same probelms...

Hi,
My modem is behaving oddly suddenly - it keeps getting reset or
something after about 10mins or so, making big-ish downloads a pain.
It's happened under NT as well as Linux, especially in the evenings
(UK).
Under Linux I get (in ppp.log and in the console) (something like...)

I want to set up ip masquerading, but the docs all talk about other
dists and puting things in their /etc/rc.d/rc.local file.
Where should I put stuff that normally you'd just bung in rc.local for
Debian?
Ta,
Martin
