What I'd like to do is to make a backup of my debian system on a
bootable cd-rom.
The idea is to boot from the cd and have it 'copy' all data to a
harddisk so I can run debian again within short time if I ever mess
up.

After compiling and installing the kernel I can't
mail to someone and they want to reply, they are replying
to graeve ( which was ok if it was local ) but it should be
