Hi:
I think the safest way is to install from
FDs. Fro teh files you asked, check the section
5.2 in the installation manual at this address:
http://www.debian.org/releases/slink/i386/install
After you installed, learn how to use "deselect".
It's a very convenient package-management tool. Y

Hi:
I'm currently using Debian on
/de/hda1, which is 2G. Also, I have
MSDOS on /dev/hda2. I"m just wondering
how can I use lilo to boot /dev/hda2?
I can't solve the problem because

I tried to use "linear" option in
/etc/lilo.conf , but
I think you've probably forgotten to install

Netscape. I use dselect to install Netscape,
so it reminds me "required" packages nicely.
Hope this gives you hints to solve your
problem. If you have problem using dselect,
ask again. :)
By the way, it wou

keep /dev/hda1 as the active partition.
What can I do to boot /dev/hda5? Also, after
reading the lilo documentat
