If I'm not mistaken, it means that this package needs new dependencies
in order to be upgraded.
It happened to me today with the package links which required two new
libraries.
I solved the problem with apt-get install links... No problem so far,
though I'm not sure it's a clean method.

Thank you guys, that's exactly the answer i needed :). I can't compile a
kernel on this machine (it's a 486 @ 66 mhz.. Slow even to untar :p).

without initrd. I indeed don't have any scsi hdd, so i don't think i
