There is a peculiar problem with this card:
I believe its ID has changed, and hence the driver
included in 2.2.X kernel does not work with it any longer.
You need to upgrade to 2.4.2-ac series kernel.
More details are available:

Hey there!
whenever i run lilo and install a newly compiled kernel
(2.2.17 or 2.4.2) to the harddrive.
For both kernels i get this error message:
Warning: unable to open an initial console
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= parameter ..
what is the problem and what is the soluti
es performance, and if so, is it worth cutting
the size of the kernel image?
Thanks a lot!

Maybe in that case, there are "Linux x86 assembler" books?
Another question: How assembler works in the secure Linux

Linux checks that calls are not a threat to the system?

Hello fellow users!
I was just scanning the new packages and wondered:
How are bugs cathegorized, numbered and bug reports
submitted?
Most bug fixes are around "bug #26600", does it mean that
26600 is the total number

Hi!
I've posted a msg yesterday about resolv.conf, and couldn't
get ahead with all the help.
I 'm attaching my resolv.conf, host.conf and nsswitch.conf
so you can help me more

use a default kernel, that boots things I don't need. That

Hello fellow users!
It's a weird newbie question I'm about to ask. but what
about Pascal?
you all seem to write in C or PERL, but I like pascal.
when I checked the pascal compiler I found it required all

libc6?
I am not an experienc

Thanks again.

Hello fellow users.
The debian user lists are the most important source of
information for debian users,
especially in detailed problems. I believe we all agree to
that.
However the lists have grown too large. I receive about 80
MSG's per day from
the lists and I can't filter myself all those MSG's

Hello debian users!
my problem description is as follows:
I couldn't wait for the beta and the 2.00.34 kernel and the
fixed hamm packs that came with it.
so I installed the base system and 2.00.33, and started
DLding packages. "No", said dselect,
you need newer base system to run many of the packs.
