I have a Libranet(1.82) cd and I wish to use the Helix gnome packages in it. I
noticed that it is for woody ( or what I see in the directory structure). I
tried one package to see if it will work. I tried grip and it needs libgtk... (
that's all I remember) anyway, I have this 1.2.0 while it say

I recently installed a newer version of linuxlogo on my system by using the
source from a tarball. I noticed that it placed the linux_logo binary in
another directory instead of where the Debian installation places it. So there

Greetings,
I would like to ask for some advice on what programming tools can I use in
developing Linux apps. I've been developing Windoze applications for about 3
years and would like to shift to Linux. I'm interested in GUI tools for X,
preferably using KDE ( Gnome would be great too).
Greetings,
Can someone enlighten me what's Potato, Woody, and all those Debian
codenames? How is Debian versioned? is it with the kernel version?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm planning on shifting to Debian but there aren't any Debian cds here in
our country. Buying outside the country is costly, and I don't have a goog
internet connection. Anyone here from the Philippines? If so can I copy your
cds, or at least can you tell me where you purchased it?
